Use Cases

Germination, propagation, and retail.

The 650 g format serves professional propagation benches and retail garden consumers equally well.

Seed Germination

Seed Germination

Ultra-low native EC prevents salt burn at the most vulnerable stage. Fill 50- or 84-cell trays directly. pH stability eliminates the buffering step needed with peat plugs.

Herb & Leafy Propagation

Herb & Leafy Propagation

High water-holding (60–70%) reduces irrigation frequency in propagation tunnels. Fine 100% pith texture gives uniform root resistance appropriate for cutting propagation.

Retail & Hobby

Retail & Hobby

Compact 650 g single-serve format ships and displays efficiently. Each briquette yields 8–9 L — equivalent to 3–4 standard window boxes. Strong peat-free sustainability narrative.

Activation Guide

Hydrate. Fluff. Use immediately.

Each briquette is ready to sow within 15 minutes. EC always below 0.3 — no test, no rinse, no wait in most conditions.

01

Hydrate

Place briquette in a tray or bucket. Pour 3–4 litres of clean water (EC ≤ 0.5) over it. Allow 10–15 minutes for full absorption.

02

Fluff & Test

Break apart and aerate. EC of the hydrated medium should read < 0.3 mS/cm. If higher, rinse with a further 1–2 L and re-test.

03

Use or Store

Use immediately for sowing or propagation. Unused hydrated coir stores in a sealed bag for up to 3 days. Dry briquettes are shelf-stable 3+ years.
